SUPPORT IN FULFILLING THE REQUIREMENTS OF AN EXTENDED PRODUCER RESPONSIBILITY (EPR) PROGRAM

Customer

A food manufacturer specializing in medical nutrition

Type of project

Yearly accompanying and support for preparing, calculating and optimizing reporting, for the Extended Producer Responsability (EPR) across Canada.

Description

This major manufacturer, a leader in its field, wasn’t fully aware of its obligations in regard to managing the waste generated by its products in Canada.

When this company realized that it was required to comply with some extended producer responsibility (EPR) programs, Sustainable STRAT was called upon to assist in several ways: educate executives, establish an action plan, complete reports for the previous five years, develop and optimize calculation templates for future reports.

In the end, the client saved substantially on human resources and reduced its financial contributions to the EPR program by 25%.
